CorpersConnect is for two groups: prospective corps members who are awaiting mobilisation and want to prepare ahead, and currently serving corps members who need practical tools and community support throughout their service year.
No, this is an independent platform built by ex-corpers and tech professionals to solve the real-world challenges corps members face. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated under the NYSC Directorate. We complement the official NYSC process by providing career, housing, and social solutions that cater for corper’s welfare during and after their service year.

Once you create your account, you will fill out a professional profile highlighting your course of study, skills, certifications, and proficiencies. Our system automatically matches your profile with verified companies looking for corps members in your field. Our system helps you become visible to employers either looking for prospective corpers or ex-corpers.
No. A match signals that an employer is potentially interested in your profile and has listed an opening. Final PPA placement still involves the official NYSC process. CorpersConnect only facilitates visibility with employers but does not override NYSC's deployment authority.
CorpersConnect onboards verified Nigerian organizations across sectors including technology, finance, healthcare, education, NGOs, media, and professional services — organizations that actively seek to host corps members for their service year or hiring ex-corpers.
Once deployment results are released, you can filter users by your assigned state and local government area (LGA). You can view the profiles of other corps members looking for accommodation in that same area, chat with them securely inside the app, and agree to co-rent an apartment.
Safety is our top priority. All users on our platform are verified corps members. We also provide safety guidelines for meeting potential roommates and inspect listed apartments where possible. However, we always advise meeting up in public spaces (like the orientation camp or a local government secretariat) before making financial commitments.
It’s a peer-to-peer marketplace. Passing Out Parade (POP) corps members who are leaving their service states can list their items—like mattresses, fans, kitchen utensils, and camp gear—for sale. Newly deployed corps members in that same state can browse, negotiate, and buy these items locally, saving thousands of Naira.
At launch, the marketplace facilitates listings and connections between buyers and sellers. Payments and logistics are coordinated directly between parties. We are building an escrow and verified delivery feature for a future update.
All marketplace users are verified CorpersConnect members. We also allow buyers to rate sellers after transactions, building a trust and review system over time. We recommend completing transactions in person where possible, especially for high-value items.
The forum is open to any subject relevant to the NYSC experience — PPA tips, tips around your new community, allowance queries, CDS advice, SAED activities, community/state-specific information, career development, mental health, relationships, entrepreneurship, and more.
Yes. Corps members can create private groups for specific cohorts, platoons, CDS groups, or social interests. Membership to private groups is by invitation only.
Yes. CorpersConnect has community guidelines and a moderation team to ensure the forum remains respectful, safe, and useful. Users can also report content that violates community standards.
